Hey Readers! how's it going?

So today October the 10th is world mental health day and I though I would take the time to help raise awareness of it and try to do my part in tackling the stigma of mental health.

I expect we all know someone who suffers from a mental illness they come in many forms and don't always have physical signs that can be seen. Which makes it difficult for some people to see the mental illness or think someone is simply attention seeking, when in fact they have no control over it and can be a daily battle to do the simplest of tasks. Mental illness can also lead to physical health.

I think It well about time that we get properly educated of the facts and what it is like to have a mental health issue, what ever that may be. It should be taught in schools and colleges even universities so that we tackle the issue at every level and even have a support groups somewhere people with a mental health issue can feel they are safe and able to talk about their particular mental illness and where they can get the support they need also they can see they are not on their on with having a mental illness as sometimes it can feel like that especially when it seems like no one else has the same troubles you do and they can just get on with their lives battles free.

Best wishes

Hi Guys and Girls!

I have been thinking about how little people do not understand what mental health is and what comes under mental heath, or how to deal with it and how people think it is a bad thing, that these people are to be avoided or looked at in a different way. Instead of helping them in any way they can.

Life is NEVER easy but for people with a mental health issue, it can be even harder for them and doing day to day things, that most of us take for granted can be near impossible for people with mental health issues.

So I thought if you started to teach children from a certain age when they are old enough to understand such a topic then maybe as they grow older there will be less of a stigma against mental health and people will understand  what mental health is and be able to deal with it or help someone to deal with it. Another bonus to this would be that young people will be able to get the help from support groups or other organisations that are trained and able to deal with such issues.

The younger it is possible to teach children/young adults about mental health the more accepting and understanding they will become. Of course you will have to have a teacher or someone that is educated in this matter to teach it .

(Sorry if this post is not that amazing and lacks my normal sparkle but it is getting late here and I am feeling a tiny bit tired and the picture at the top was taken by me about a year ago).

Hi Everyone

I have recently been thing been thinking about what is actually good for you or I or people in general with some many different and opposite so called facts or do we just listen to what people tell us and make out it's all true and what they say are right? As there are a lot of people out there, like that.

So I was watching this very interesting documentary on clean eating and if it was actually doing us. A added bonus to this was that Gracie Victory was presenting the documentary and if you do not know who she is then where have you been? She is a YouTuber who makes videos from anything from beauty and fashion to body image and mental illness. I personally love her work on mental illness and body image all her videos on the subjects. I have been following her on YouTube for many many years now.

Like me and a lot o girls/women out there she is not Skinny she has real curves and she has/had her own body issues, which I for one have struggled with for many years now, but she say's sod it to trying to be perfect and see's the beauty in her own body and encourages others to find the beauty in their body and I think she is a really inspiration and a role model.

Anyway, I got a bit off track there, so I learnt a lot for this documentary, more about not to do any of these fad diets and that clean eating is more or less not doing you any good. You may lose weight thought it, but at what cost to your body, it can seriously mess your body up. I f done for a while some can sometimes tell the effects after a few days or weeks, depending on what your diet was like before. The best kind of eating is a balanced diet making sure your body gets all it needs to function properly and at the end of the day that is the most important thing any way. Who really cares if someone doesn't think your body is perfect? I bet if you looked under the hood their body would not be perfect either!
